A few weeks ago our stake had a great activity called "Turning our Hearts to our Father's. Every family was asked to come up with a way to display their family tree. It was fun to learn about our ancestors. Thanks to Justin's parents our display was already taken care of. For our little doll representing an ancestor we made John Santolucito my great-grandfather on my dad's side. John sailed to American from Italy and later opened an Italian market in California. Ty immediately fell in love with it and ran over and said, "my Papa." A few days later Ty saw "Papa" being lifted from the garbage can into the garbage truck. He immediately started crying and said "That garbage man threw my Papa away, go and get him back." I felt bad about throwing it away but I wasn't about to go dump truck diving.
