21 months

This little pretty will be 21 months old this week. Have I told you how much we love our brown eyed beauty? 


Here are 21 things we love about our little Princess.

1. She is so cute! But you already know that.

2. She had an obsession with these pretty pink shoes, that were her favorite. She even wore them to bed a few times, because it just wasn't worth the battle.  Unfortunately they no longer fit her but she has plenty  of other shoes to fall in love with.  But I don't think they will ever compare to her first love.

3. She loves her blankie. She is like a little Linus . She drags it every where, even outside through the mud and sand. Even in the 100 degree weather she could be found outside with her blankie. She won't fall asleep without it. Whenever we go to my parents, my mom distracts her and throws it in the wash.

 4. Ring Around the Rosie's is her favorite game she loves it, and we play it several times a day.  She also loves when her dad spins her around singing, Pop Goes the Weasel and throws her in the air. She also loves to play hide and seek and hide and say, "caw caw," just like her daddy so we know where to find her.

5. She loves her bracelets which she calls "pretties," She will go up to strangers and hold out her arm and say "pretties" she is quite proud of them. We usually try to limit her to one on each arm but sometimes she just really wants to wear them all. That is the first thing she asks for in the morning is her "pretties." 

6. She also loves her juice. I am constantly hearing, "more baba juice, pea's" with a smile and a tilted head, how can I resist.


7. Her hair is getting longer, and she loves to have it done. She loves getting it brushed and loves to have bows, more "pretties" in her hair. 

8. A picture I took of her won a pretty baby photo contest at Stork Landing and she won a cool chair that snaps on the table. She loved it until she became Houdini and could escape from the buckles. she climbs on everything, she is a little monkey and is always climbing on the bar stools. She was even caught standing on them trying to get the Halloween candy out of the cupboard, little stinker.  Every night I'm thankful it wasn't the day she had to be taken to the emergency room for stitches. We'll keep our fingers crossed.

9. She loves going to the bus stop to wave at the bus driver. And then says, "where Ty go, bye bye bus!" She loves to go bye bye in Jo Jo (our van.) She loves her brothers and is always looking for them. She like to call them by putting her hand by her mouth and yelling for them.  She also does this to yell for her blanket and baba when she doesn't know where they are.

10. She loves her baby dolls. She loves to swing with them in her little swing and sleeps with her favorite 3 in her bed. She has to tuck them in and kiss them all good night before bed.

11. Her favorite song is Rocky bye don't you cry, and she hums it to her babies.

12. She loves to sing.  She is constantly singing all day. We say, "sing us a song," and she busts into song using about every word she knows, it's pretty funny.

13. She loves to jabber on the phone to her imaginary friends, but as soon as someone is really there she just sits and listens to them really closely and when we take the phone away because she is not talking to them she says, "more!"

14.  She loves her daddy! And when he gets homes she will either say, "Hi Daddy," or "Boo Daddy!"

15. She loves to hold hands and give kisses. She is always taking our hands and then saying, "handy, handy, handy." 
16. She loves to squint her eyes and fold her arms to say the prayer. Her favorite part is to say, "amen!" and then she usually says, "more!" so we say another prayer. There are a lot of prayers going up from this house.
17. She loves to catch bugs, especially Box Elder bugs. She chases them around laughing and saying, "Happy" because that is the name of our frog and she likes to feed them to him. 
18. She has been the best baby. She has slept from 7 p.m. until 8 a.m since she was 3 months old. And takes a 2-3 hours nap each afternoon.
19. She got sick last month for the first time (other then little runny noses) since she was born. She's been our healthiest baby. 
20. She is really into books right now, she could sit and listen to them all day.  But she is not into T.V. she has never sat down and watched a whole cartoon, It's just not her thing. She would rather be doing other mischievous things. 
21. She hates having a messy diaper, she tells us when she needs her diaper changed by pointing to her diaper ad saying, "poop." One of her favorite songs to sing is "poop, poop in the potty." She has used her potty a few times but she would rather hold it until she has her diaper on and then she will go and then wants her diaper off immediately. So we'll see how the whole potty training thing will go. 

I love this age! She has the sweetest personality with a hint of Diva. She is learning new words and getting smarter everyday and we couldn't imagine life without her!  So in case I haven't told you how much we love our brown eyed beauty. We love her oh so very very much!
